Episode 27 of Tales From the Trenches Tuesdays again features Tricia Johnson, Director of Communications and Development for the Ottawa Food Bank. Tricia is a well-poised professional, ready to inspire volunteers, colleagues and donors alike.
I talk with Tricia talking about bequests and estate planning. We finish the episode by talking about female-led fundraising organizations.
Tricia is both candid and inspirational at the same time. I have had the honor of working on a project with her and I believe her to be one of the most dedicated people I have worked with.
A lot of time — both as a woman and as a minority — we tend to think that unless we fit 100% of the criteria that we’re not good enough to apply for those jobs. So often we hold ourselves back.
