Episode 5 of Tales From the Trenches Tuesdays features part two of my discussion with Jason Lewis, Founder of Responsive Fundraising. Jason’s first book, The War for Fundraising Talent, was an honest yet hopeful critique of contemporary fundraising practices and we explore some concepts unveiled in the book on this podcast.
We discuss the concept of dirty money — not dirty as in proceeds of crime, as well as the value of relationships in fundraising.
The essence is that you are putting the relationship ahead of a subsequent gift.
