Episode 74 of Tales From the Trenches Tuesdays features Aimée Lindenberger, a veteran of 20-plus years of marketing and communications experience. She is also one of the first in the world to earn a certificate in Philanthropic Psychology. She brings innovative approaches to charities across Canada, helping them engage supporters more deeply, especially in legacy giving which is her passion. Aimée is the author of “How to Talk About Legacy Giving“. She regularly contributes to the sector as a speaker and teacher. She has held leadership roles in the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
We discuss her book and what brought her to fundraising as well as messaging to donors.
It works really well to talk about the big picture vision and the values when we’re trying to re-engage lapsed supporters who maybe got tired of hearing about the constant need an maybe were starting to feel like ‘well, I keep giving to this organization but they’re just treading water’. And then they start to be re-inspired.
